A shallow round baker thrown in stoneware and glazed a deep denim blue that breaks to rust and copper where it runs thin over the throwing rings. Two handles rolled from twisted ropes of clay are pressed onto the rim, and the inside pools darker in the well.
Incised signature in the foot. Straight from oven to table with a gratin in it, or on a shelf when it isn't working.
- Material: Wheel-thrown stoneware, blue glaze with rust breaks
- Condition: Excellent — light wear consistent with age, no chips or cracks, handles secure
- One-of-a-kind: Yes
