Three little fish in matte cream ceramic, each hollowed out with a round well for a tea light. The fins and tails are combed with fine lines and washed in a soft accent — one powder blue, one butter yellow, one peach — and every one has two dot eyes and a small pursed smile pressed into the face.
They stack nose-to-tail into a tidy tower when they're not working, which is either good design or a happy accident. Either way they're impossible to look at without smiling.
Down the middle of a table, along a bathroom shelf, or scattered across a porch rail once the sun goes.
