A deep cobalt glass bowl with a wide flared rim and a body ribbed in fine concentric bands, like a beehive. Hold it up to a window and the whole thing goes electric; set it on a table and it reads almost black-blue.
Cobalt is one of those colors that anchors a table without trying. This one has real presence for its size — thick at the foot, clean at the rim, no fuss anywhere.
