A hinged wooden cigar box from Cuesta-Rey, Cabinet No. 95 — dovetailed corners, brass clasp, and the original paper labels still bright inside the lid. Somebody kept it after the cigars were gone and stuck a row of blue "It's a Boy" bands across the front, which is the best thing about it.
Pens on a desk, cards and keys by the door, or a small stack of letters.
