A small white porcelain temple jar with a domed lid and a pointed finial, wrapped on one side with a full tropical scene — two flamingos standing in still turquoise water, a flock of smaller ones behind them, palms leaning in from the right and a bank of clouds piled up in a very blue sky. The rest of the jar is left plain white, so the picture reads like a window.
Marked "Flamingo Fantasy © Papel" with a pink flamingo stamp, made in Japan. Extremely Florida, and we mean that as the highest compliment.
Lid on as a shelf piece, or lid off with a few stems. It also happens to be the right size for the small things that pile up on a dresser.
