A wine cooler cut from a single block of marble — creamy white shot through with grey and charcoal veining that wraps right around the body, straight-sided with a stepped collar at the rim and a deep polished well inside. It has the heft you want in one of these: set it down and it stays.
A bottle of white and a handful of ice on the table, and it will sweat far less than a metal one. Just as good on a bar cart holding bottles upright when nobody's pouring.
