Navy-blue cloth boards with a gilt rule framing the cover, ALL THE WORLD'S ANIMALS in gold across the top and PRIMATES below, around an inset photograph of two sifakas mid-leap through bare branches. Inside are full-bleed color spreads — langurs stacked along a fig branch, macaques, a mandrill — plus Priscilla Barrett's painted artwork panels.
From the All the World's Animals series, published by Torstar Books in New York in 1985, edited by David Macdonald of Oxford with a contributor list that reads like a who's-who of eighties primatology. Printed in Belgium, and the reproduction still holds up.
