An oval sand-relief plaque of a fishing trawler under way — mast and rigging drawn in fine incised line, the hull and wheelhouse pressed deep, gulls scratched into the sky above. The whole surface is real sand, so the picture is made in shadow and depth rather than color, and it shifts as the light moves across it.
Signed in the sand at lower right and marked on the reverse: SA-832 Trawler, Sand Reflections, Inc., © 1983. Wire hanger already fitted.
