Four scallop-shell plates in a loud, happy turquoise, each with a built-in round well at the hinge for sauce. The ribs fan out across the plate and the rim ripples in a proper scalloped edge — glossy all over, and the color is saturated straight through.
Poolside plates, essentially. Shrimp on the shell and cocktail sauce in the well, or chips and something green, without anyone having to juggle two dishes.
